Dreams Realized
What a whirlwind of a week. First things first: Thank you for all the prayers.
Oscar and I went to RFKC and had an amazing week. We worked hard, played hard but most importantly prayed hard. God was so faithful. It was a week of last minute... but somehow in the last minute kind of things, God is always Faithful and it keeps us in a position of desperation for Him. My heart is slowly releasing the kids into the Lord's care. I feel like I have been in a different country for a missions trip, which in a way it's true. The "re-entry" is more difficult for me this year, but I am doing all I know how to give myself some grace. It was incredible to work and minister alongside Oscar all week. Every night we went to bed and would ask each other and the Lord "how can we do this all the time?" Oscar has such an amazing gift with children and it was so awesome to see him in action.
We returned from camp at 2pm on Friday and as we sang our last few songs and watched the video recap of the week, as each face of the campers went on the screen, my heart ached. I pray all the songs we sang are in their minds and hearts forever. I could feel the tears welling up, but I did my best to suppress them as I had an important task ahead: the CD Release Concert! I raced home, showered, changed, hair, makeup and back to church I went for the final dress rehearsal. What an amazing night of worship. There was such an amazing energy in the air. There was a freedom in the room that you could almost reach out and touch. I sang my heart out like never before. The band and vocals were amazing. Anointed. There was a sweet presence. There was a shift in the supernatural. It's like we turned a huge corner. What a powerful night. We bought a copy of the CD and it was such a surreal experience to read the lyrics and see people I know and love in the credits. God is so Faithful. I am so excited to see all He has in store!
